On Wednesday March 9, the Multicultural Health & Support Service (MHSS) team hosted an online forum for workers on ‘The Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Sexual and Reproductive Health in Migrant & Refugee Communities’. Over 70 participants heard a number of Victorian services detail their projects and how their communities were affected. If you missed out, catch up by watching the video above.
The forum provided a platform to discuss COVID -19, Sexual Health and BBVs. Topics included:
• Sexual health issues, concerns and needs within migrant & refugee communities.
• Service gaps, access, issues and sexual health outcomes for migrant, refugee and asylum seeker communities
• Service disruptions and emerging lessons from the challenges
• Evidence of adaptations that have been implemented to date
