Our workplace training programs can assist your organisation to offer a higher quality of service to clients from migrant or refugee backgrounds.
We can tailor a program to meet your specific needs, ranging from introductory modules such as valuing cultural diversity and cross-cultural communication to specialist topics such as health assessments, health promotion, aged care, palliative care and working with interpreters.
Our training will help your staff to:
- Understand how their own values and culture impacts on their work
- Build awareness and understanding of cultural differences
- Identify ways to build on their communication skills and work practices
- Identify ways to improve organisational systems and processes
We will work with you to create exercises and scenarios relevant to your organisation, and we will leave you with plenty of resources and tools based on current research and best practice.
We offer more than 15 different modules: select the ones that you want or get us to develop a program based on your needs.
