about the CEH library

The CEH library provides health and community services, and other interested stakeholders, with comprehensive information on culture, ethnicity and health.Our library collection focuses on topics regarding health and health service delivery in relation to culturally diverse communities. It includes books, audiovisual materials, journal articles, project reports and research.

Topics include:

• Health education and promotion, with a focus on diversity
• Prevention (eg sexually-transmissible diseases, obesity, etc)
• Service delivery models and strategies
• Cross-cultural communication
• Cultural competency
• Cross-cultural research
• Language services
• Trans-cultural nursing care
• Specific health issues (eg cancer, diabetes, mental health, STI)
• Social issues (eg drug use, problem gambling, ageing, youth)
• Refugees and asylum seekers
