Seona Powell, Manager

 

Seona commenced in the position of Manager, Health Sector Development and Multicultural Gambler’s Help Program at the CEH in January 2012.  Seona has had a number of years experience working in the health promotion sector and as a dietician within community based organisations. Her previous roles have included managing the Smiles 4 Miles oral health promotion program at Dental Health Services Victoria and coordinating the bowel cancer screening program at the Cancer Council Victoria. She has also worked within a number of other local and state-based community organisations.

Tatiana Walker, Project Worker

Tatiana's projects with MGHP include building partnerships between Gambler's Help and the ethnic sector to improve responses to problem gambling. She was previously employed in an ethno-specific organisation where she assisted aged care and disability service providers to improve their responsiveness to people from non-English speaking backgrounds. Tatiana has a Masters of Special Education and is currently undertaking a Masters in Public Health at La Trobe University.

Sara Brocchi, Project Worker

Sara's projects involve raising awareness of problem gambling issues and increasing access to problem gambling services among migrant and refugee communities. Previously employed as a researcher and a consultant, she has a firm knowledge of qualitative research methodologies . Sara has a Bachelor of Arts - Media and Communications and a Post Graduate Diploma in Anthropological and Ethnological Science (Honours).

Siri Gunawardana, Project Worker

Siri's role involves project work, training development and facilitation. She has more than 10 years of experience in migrant and refugee settlement, training and health promotion. Siri has a Bachelor of Arts-Social Science (Honours), a Bachelor of Arts-Community Development, and Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training.
