Alliance

Following on the success of the Diversity in Health 2010 Conference, a new national alliance is being established to voice the multicultural sector's views within the current changing health landscape.

The National Alliance on Culture, Diversity and Health will actively advocate for the needs of multicultural health issues.

Members currently include Diversity Health Institute (NSW), Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia (ACT), Institute for Cultural Diversity (NSW) and Centre for Culture, Ethnicity & Health (VIC).

The Alliance is also calling on the multicultural sector to identify key issues, and provide it with the evidence and real-life basis for advocacy.
